A business unit at a large scale financial institution going through change

A case study in communicating the strategy behind business change to key stakeholders and employees.

PROJECT CONTEXT

In 2023, a financial institution appointed a new Managing Director to innovate growth within an existing business unit.

Our job was to support the MD in making the business case for change to stakeholders in a way that would ensure understanding, garner support and ultimately build advocacy.

Business strategy workshops

We worked closely with the Managing Director and his executive leaders to elicit and consolidate high-level business strategy into single, tangible ‘point of truth’. We did this through interactive workshops and an iterative feedback process.

Business strategy narrative & design

With the business strategy bedded down and business case articulated, we framed the change in a positive, evocative narrative. This narrative served as a unifying thread, fostering a shared understanding of the change and its purpose. By using storytelling to humanise the strategy, we helped create emotional buy-in, ensuring the organisation could rally its people around a clear and inspiring vision for the future.

We presented the business strategy in a dynamic, visually emotive presentation. Here, we combined visual storytelling with clear, concise messaging, making the strategy accessible and engaging for employees and stakeholders alike.
