01. The Context


A long-established business with deep technical capability needed to tell the story of its evolution from a domestic manufacturer into a global export platform. As the business started to look towards an exit, its public facing assets were not telling the right equity story - one of scale, sophistication and significant international traction. The equity story being told was rooted in an operational past, rather than highlighting the global opportunity it is building toward. This limited external understanding of the business and reduced the strength of its positioning with international partners and future investors.

02. The Strategic Need


To favourably shape investor value assumptions, the business needed a compelling equity story expressed consistently across all public touch points. Key stakeholders across the business recognised that the shift from a manufacturing identity to an export-led platform required a new narrative that expressed scientific capability, scale and ESG rigour. Strategic timing dictated that the equity story must be embedded well before exit.

This included a refreshed brand narrative, an elevated visual aesthetic and a redesigned website, all structured to express the company’s evolution from manufacturer to global platform. The equity story is now in production in video form, giving management and sell-side teams a compelling way to communicate the business’s ambition and future trajectory to prospective investors.

By aligning every external touchpoint with the equity story, the business has now firmed up its global positioning as it starts exit processes.
